NYFW Look No 1
The first day of fashion week was a rainy, cold one. This outfit was definitely not the most conventional but it did get the job done. I was featured in Cosmopolitan 2 times, WWD, Refinery AND TeenVogue! Check my press page 🙂
New York Fashion Week street style is very much out of my comfort zone. I like to think that I’m more of a “classy, beautiful dress” type of person. It’s hard for me to guess what will be “in” in NYC when I’m living all the way in Seattle. I guess that’s why I was so afraid to go to fashion week this season.
But it turns out that I have nothing to worry about. I just need to trust my own personal voice and sense of style. This is why I really like my first look at NYFW. It’s trendy but still maintains a little bit of my classic European roots with the sheer dress top.
I also teamed up with SEVEN salon NYC’S partner stylist in New York to create fun and effortless style for the NYFW streets and parties.
“Julia was really feeling the 70’s chic vibe that was happening at
NYFW and decided to run with it! She loves effortless styles with a lot
of texture so to keep with the 70’s motif, we decided to create a
middle part and tousled waves.”

2. Rough dry the hair until it’s about 80% dry. Finish drying with a round brush to smooth the ends and add lift at the root.
