On the Go with Square Cash App

Living where most people vacation, someone I know is always in town! I was thrilled when one of my best friends, Lids, came to visit LA for the week. We often spent our weekends together in Seattle so it was a pleasure to have a piece of home with me for a brief moment.

We went out to one of my favorite spots in Santa Monica, Ivy at The Shore. It’s located right on Ocean Ave and has a vintage, rouge decor amidst numerous vases of roses surrounding most of the restaurant. A regular site for local celebrities and food connoisseurs.

8We nibbled at dessert while tippling champagne, catching up on each other’s new adventures and reminiscing about the good “old” times. The whole afternoon was quite lovely.. until the bill arrived.

She wanted to take care of the bill. Naturally, this did not go over well with me, but little did she know that I had a little trick up my sleeve. After the waiter had returned with her card, I had transferred my half to her Square Cash App. >:)

Even though this is a sponsored post, I have been using the Square Cash App with my friends for over a year. I love the Square Cash App and I wanted to share it with you guys because it’s been a lifesaver multiple times!

Whether it’s booking a hotel with a few friends, splitting the check, secretly paying your boyfriend back for lunch, or covering for a friend when they forget their card – the Square Cash App integrates seamlessly into our lives by transferring money instantly and for FREE, unlike other apps like Venmo.

Square Cash is really easy to use – just put it in your name, number, card # and you’re ready to go! The design of the app is modern, sleek, and doesn’t have that silly social feed like Venmo. Enjoy!
