Converted to La Mer

Tuesday, August 4, 2015

You might be wondering – healthy, unhealthy? Yes, the only unhealthy part about Creme de La Mer is its price tag. $300 for a bottle Gel Cream. Is that even legal? ARE YOU PEOPLE CRAZY? I have student loans to pay, shoes to buy, people to see.

Well, at least that’s what I thought until I tried La Mer for myself.

Fortunately, I have the chance to tell you about my experience because I was gifted these products from a good friend of mine who was kind enough to introduce me to La Mer. He uses La Mer like a drug addict 🙂

A week later my life is changed. Not really, but my skin is converted and I’m probably going to hate myself for this new addiction.

My new routine? As always, I wash my face at night religiously, but now with The Cleansing Foam.

It’s made of sea algae fibers and white pearl powder, which gently purify and energize skin for a bright, healthy-looking complexion. It literally feels like ALL the dirt is washed away. My skin is normally more oily prone, so this face wash takes off all the oils.

I follow up with The Moisturizing Gel which is probably my favorite product I’ve used on my face to date. Even after the first application, it made my skin feel hydrated, smooth, soft, and more even. And no, I’m not getting paid to say this.

This cooling gel moisturizer is infused with a potent concentration of the nutrient-rich Miracle Broth™, the heart of La Mer’s profound powers of transformation. It delivers the same radiance, renewal and suppleness that made the original Crème de la Mer a legend, leaving skin deeply hydrated and refreshed. It is ideal for warm-weather climates. I heard that people who can only wash their face with water can use La Mer.

I finish off with refreshing eye treatment, the Illuminating Eye Gel, to get rid of these designer black circles under my eyes. Antioxidants within the Awakening Ferment help protect against the aging effects of the environment, fatigue and stress as the Illuminating Ferment promotes a luminous new look. Eyes look youthful, energized and awakened.

Honestly, I wouldn’t believe it from anyone else, but it’s seriously transformed my skin in as little as week. So worth it.

**A little background on La Mer**

Crème de la Mer, one of the most innovative and sought-after moisturizers, was conceived by Dr. Max Huber, an aerospace physicist, after he suffered a laboratory accident that severely burned his face. Formulated with sea kelp and a pioneering bio-fermentation process, the Crème miraculously transformed the appearance of Dr. Huber’s skin. Since then, it has evolved into what can only be described as a legend. Today, La Mer offers a complete range of facial skin care and body products—all harnessing the remarkable benefits of the sea.

Do you use an exfoliator while using the La Mer three piece set? I have big pores/ black heads so I was wondering how I can eliminate them as well as try La Mer! Thx xx
