Bag Borrow or Steal: Chanel Portobello Tote in Paris

Tuesday, October 27, 2015

As you guys know, I’m a frequent of and last month I borrowed the Chanel Portobello Tote. I usually stick to smaller bags because the smaller the space the less items I can carry. This is a huge deal for me because I tend to shove my whole life into huge bags.

Surprisingly, I really loved the Chanel Portobello Tote and it was easy to keep it organized and clean.

It was just big enough for me to place my makeup bag, work phones/ipad, a notebook and a few other accessories when I was running around in NYC, Paris, and at home. I also love the fact that it was Chanel. I didn’t have to sacrifice style for comfort. The bag worked well in all places over the world, even Paris! It’s seriously such a classic piece.

Even though the large double flap bags are super chic, I can barely put anything in them to make me a functional human being. I loved the Chanel Tote so much that I’m actually looking into other totes to purchase in the next few months.

That’s why I love the Borrow program – it lets me find out what bags I would and wouldn’t wear. For example, the red LV bag that I borrowed in the summer time. I wouldn’t wear it during the fall because it’s too bright for my color aesthetic. Good thing I didn’t drop 4k on it.

Overall, 5 stars for the Chanel Portobello Tote. Seriously one of the best bags I’ve had the pleasure of wearing.
