I’ve had my fair share of car accidents –  somehow I have the worst luck. Last year alone I was in two car accidents in the same month! Both of the cars were totaled but thankfully I didn’t have any major injuries. I do, however, have THE worst back problems. I get treatment every week, but my lifestyle of constantly flying, driving, and working on the computer is tough on my neck and back.

I get a massage every week. Not only to help my back feel better, but because they help me de-stress. It’s difficult for me to relax.

The massage does more than just help my back issues, but it also calms me down and gives me peace of mind.

It’s incredible what stress does to the body, and I don’t mean that in a good way. Lately, I have been training myself to meditate and to find time during the day to relax.

Mental health is just as important as physical health.

After a hectic Oscars Week, I was really looking forward to my stay at The Ritz-Carlton LA Live and visiting The Ritz-Carlton Spa. On every trip I take, I make sure to plan a spa day – for my sanity. I could not tell you how badly I needed it, especially after driving down to LA from Seattle.

The spa was like a little oasis in the city. I had the most life changing 50 minute deep tissue massage followed by a manicure. It took weeks of stress off. I enjoyed The Ritz-Carlton Spa experience, the staff was lovely and the service was great. Would definitely recommend visiting The Ritz-Carlton Spa even if you live in the city!
